Is it Me or does this Song have "Hall of Fame" written all over it?

Writing a blog about "Songs that make you feel Good" is easy with this one on the list from One Republic.  The song is called "Good Life."  I first heard this in 2011, ironically, while I was headed to Downtown Disney on a date.  I was very shocked the next day to see a Disney ad on TV with the same song playing in the background.  I think that happened for a reason.  This song was very big, and the lead singer also was featured on the chorus of Far East Movement's "Rocketeer."

That was another good song.  I like the new age music when they stick to old principles and write genuinely.  You can tell by the lyrics that this guy felt the solo, and the band also was very passionate about creating wonderful a hit song.  I can't help but to whistle when I hear this song.  I think they knew that would happen when they created this song.  One Republic has gone on to create many more hits since this one.  For me, this will always be one of my favorites from them.  Definitely worthy to be on the "feel good" list.  What do you think?

Has Anyone Downloaded this Hit Song yet?

When I first heard this song from Naturally 7 "Life Goes On"  I was going through a tough time in my life dealing with relationships and depression.  I had recently dropped out the college that I enrolled to since 2010, and I was unemployed.  I heard this song on the way to an interview for a Security company.  I was so inspired and motivated by the lyrics alone that I didn't even remember to listen to for the Band's name or song.  I automatically assumed Boyz II Men were back with this blazing new single!  It may sound far from the truth for some, but I actually thought these guys were Boyz II Men when I first heard this song.

When I got home, I was excited to find the song, which was on their website naturallyseven.com. Surely after I couldn't find the song "Life Goes On" nowhere on itunes!  I thought, "How can a hit like this NOT be on itunes!"  Then I thought, "Exclusivity."  This is the perfect plan to get new fans and people creating demand for their songs.  This song explains how a person's mentality should be, which is unbreakable.  The lyrics state that "You need to let it go/ And give it more because you never know/ what people do when you don't feel the need to prove yourself/ to no one else/ No matter what they say/ Remember one thing/ Your Life goes on"  In my opinion, these are powerful words that help to change lives and motivate people to become unbreakable.  Just listening to the song, for me, eases pain that I didn't want to let go.

We all have to let go our pain and past failures.  Holding on to what people or disasters have done in the past will only allow one person to remain there.  This song is not only a hit single you will not find on itunes, it is a therapeutic tool in dealing with the past, or present to change the future.  Definitely a good listen.  If anyone reading this knows where to download this song (preferably itunes) please keep me updated, follow this blog, and stay tuned for more posts.  Happy listening!
